Iran Adventure tours

The unique blue tiles of Isfahan's Islamic buildings, and the city's majestic bridges, contrast perfectly with the hot, dry Iranian countryside around it, Isfahan is a sight you won't forget. Not only is the architecture superb and the climate pleasant, but there's a fairly relaxed atmosphere here, compared with many other Iranian towns. It's a city for walking, getting lost in the bazaar, walking in beautiful gardens and meeting people. Iran adventure tour The famous half-rhyme Isfahan nesf-e-jahan (Isfahan is half the world) was coined in the 16th century to express the city's grandeur. There's so much to see that you'll probably have to ration your time and concentrate on must-sees such as the Imam Mosque, a magnificent building completely covered in Isfahan's trademark pale blue tiles. Ali Qapoo Palace Situated to the west of Naghsh-e-Jahan Sq. belongs to the Safavid period. It was used for the reception of the Ambassadors and envoys from other Countries. Ali Qapoo Isfahan is a six-storied plasterwork and paintings of which are extremely impressive. and the Vank Cathedral, the historic focal point of the Armenian church in Iran. Taking tea in one of the teahouses under the bridges is also an essential part of the Isfahan experience.

travel to Iran

Isfahan is about 400km (250ml) south of Tehran. Several flights make the trip daily. There are buses, usually overnight, to Tehran, Shiraz and other domestic cities. The express train between Isfahan and Tehran might be a preferable alternative to sitting all night on the seat.
Ardestan travel
Lying in the margin of the central desert of Iran, this town is 180 Km north East of Isfahan cities. Dating back to the Parthian period. It contains famous monuments, such as historical mosques and etc...
Khomeyni Shahr travel

Khansar travel

Shah-Reza travel
This town which is located 80 Km south of Isfahan, is of great antiquity. Its ceramics is of high importance, producing articles rof best quality. Imamzadeh Shah-Reza and the bazaar are among the sights of this town.
Semirom travel
Situated in a mountainous region, 165 Km south of Isfahan, this town has a cold climate. The following are among its interesting places: The waterfall of Semirom, Takht-e-Soleyman and Padena village.
Kashan travel

Iran Adventure tour and travel

At its best, Iranian cuisine is very good. It's heavily based on rice, bread, fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit. Meat, usually lamb or mutton minced or cut into small chunks, is used to add flavor but is rarely the dominant ingredient, except in kebabs. Sadly for adventure travelers, this usually translates into the same two or three standard dishes of kebabs or chicken, with rice, vegetables and bread - you need to be invited into homes or splurge on up market hotels to eat the best Iranian food. The national drink of Iran is undoubtedly chay (tea), always served scalding hot, black and strong. All sorts of delicious fresh fruit juices, milkshakes and yoghurt drinks are available throughout Iran. Alcohol is strictly forbidden to Islamic Iranians, though it is permitted for religious purposes, such as communion wine in churches, and to non-Muslims with special permission.

Iran's religiosity is its most striking cultural feature - it pervades all aspects of life. The essence of Islam is the belief that there is only one God, and that it is the people's duty to believe in and serve Him in the manner that is laid out in the Quran. In Arabic, Islam means submission and a Muslim is one who submits to God's will. The most visible daily expressions of Iran's brand of fundamentalist Shi'ite Islam are the modest dress code and behavior at mosques. The national language of Iran is Persian, also known as Farsi, an Indo-European language. The other main regional languages are Azari, Kurdish, Arabic and Lori (spoken by the Lors); and there are dozens of other tongues throughout the 26 provinces, such as Gilaki, Baluchi and Turkmen. The Arabic script was adapted to Persian after the introduction of Islam, but there is no standard method of transliterating Persian into English.
In Iran nature, as in all Islamic societies, art favors the non-representational, the derivative and the stylized. Many Iranian art forms predate the Arab conquest, but since nearly all of them reached their peak within the Islamic era, religious influences are rarely absent. Persian carpets are Iran's most famous cultural export, dating back to the 5th century BC, and are still an integral part of religious and cultural festivals (and the economy). The most appealing and melodious traditional music is found among the ethnic minorities, such as the Turkmen, Azaris, Kurds and Lors. Persian poetry first appeared in the 9th century AD, and slowly developed into the enduring canon of epic poems and non-rhyming couplet poems which are part of its cultural treasury today. Persian painting dates back to the Seljuq period, which then faded until the 16th century when it flourished along with calligraphy, especially in Shiraz. Other notable Persian crafts include metalwork, glassware and woodwork, while, more recently, Iranian films have been remarkably successful. Mohsen Makhmalbaf, maker of Gabbeh, is Iran's most controversial, and most lauded, filmmaker.

Damavand peak is situated in Larijan district, southwest of Amol and 69 Kilometers northeast of Tehran. Moreover, there is a lake named Lar, suitable for fishing and there are so many mineral water springs. When the sky is clear and sunny, Damavand can be seen from Tehran and other cities such as Amol, Sari, Qom & Kashan. At 5,610 metres, Damavand is not only the highest peak in Iran, but also taller than any mountain in Europe and west Asia. ** Sabalan (The Wonder Peak)
It is Iran's second highest mountain peak located in the extreme North West of Iran. A mountain higher than Mont Blanc in the Alps, with many lakes & volcanic crater. The mountain enjoys specific attractions in various seasons of the year where the mountain Climber feels he has entered a land of dreams and wonders. On the slopes of the mountain , there flows many mineral water springs which attract thousands of tourists each year, and many have their healed in the springs. There are also many trails and a few very small villages in the area, as well as many nomadic people with their round "Yurt" tents. Visiting and seeing these more "Primitive" people is one of the best reasons for climbing the mountain. Located in the extreme north west of Iran, this is the second-highest peak. Its 4,821 meters make it taller than Mount Blanc in the Alps. Sabalan is a volcanic peak, and at 3,600 meters you can see gigantic 'sculptures' which are eroded volcanic stone outcrops which resemble animals, birds and insects.

Alam Kuh which has some similarity with Himalaya is the Third highest peak in Iran and probably the one which challenges climbers the most. It has about 1000 meters of vertical granite which is suitable for cliff hanging .The second highest summit in this region and just as famous is Takht- e- Soleyman, 4650 meters. Alam Kuh range is famous for its wall & 14 peaks about 4000m. The third highest peak in Iran, but probably the most challenging to climbers. Its North Face features about 1000 meters of vertical granite. Alam kouh, the highest summit of Takht-e-Soleiman mountainside, is actually located in the central part of divides which have entangled northern, southern and northwestern flanks coming towards each other and there are many high peaks surrounded in rocks and walls on each of them.
